Magazine Covers

The first assessed piece of work, as part of the GCSE Course, involves pupils designing their own magazine cover page, along with exploring two magazines currently available to the general public.

This is an attempt to create a magazine aimed at Amateur Football enthusiasts.

This is a 'quick' attempt put together to demonstrate more skills which the pupils have been developing using Photoshop created by Mr McAvoy.

Postcards from the Edge

As a first assignment, to demonstrate the pupils' ability to use Photoshop CS4 and the Apple Mac, the pupils have created a range of Postcards relating to Salford.

Pupils were given individual themes and had to research them, taking photographs and then utilising Photoshop to design a postcard for a particular audience.

Mateuz Stanaszek had the most difficult assignment, portraying Salford's historical development.

This postcard shows an excellent application of Photoshop and is a result of hours of dedicated research at home.

Jade Challender had to depict 'Eating out IN Salford' and completed the postcard seen above.
WOW!
