As a first assignment, to demonstrate the pupils' ability to use Photoshop CS4 and the Apple Mac, the pupils have created a range of Postcards relating to Salford.
Pupils were given individual themes and had to research them, taking photographs and then utilising Photoshop to design a postcard for a particular audience.
Jonathan Taylor's postcard depicting 'Sport IN Salford'
Jade Challender had to depict 'Eating out IN Salford' and completed the postcard seen above.
Dominic O Brien's semi-abstract creation which explores buildings in Salford.
Jake Rajput's postcard depicting Salford Quays

Mateuz Stanaszek had the most difficult assignment, portraying Salford's historical development.
This postcard shows an excellent application of Photoshop and is a result of hours of dedicated research at home.
